Lyubov Slashcheva, DDS, MS, FABSCD, earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2016 and went on to complete a Fellowship in Geriatric and Special Needs Dentistry and a Residency in Public Health. She joined the Apple Tree Dental team in 2019 and became Research Director for the organization in 2022. She provides clinical care at the Fergus Falls Center and research leadership within the Corporate team.
Dr. Slashcheva holds a specialty certification as a Fellow of the American Board of Special Care Dentistry and Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Public Health. She serves as a Chairperson for the American Public Health Association Oral Health Section, Board Member of the American Society for Geriatric Dentistry, and Member of the American Dental Association National Elder Care Advisory Committee.
One thing Dr. Slashcheva is particularly passionate about is providing high-quality care to older adults and individuals with disabilities across the lifespan. Her public health research and administration skills allow Dr. Slashcheva to advocate for her patients through developing evidence-based practice and policy innovations. Married to a Minnesota native, Dr. Slashcheva lives with her family in Fergus Falls. In her free time, she enjoys cycling, gardening, and cooking.
