Cindy Degner, DT, LDH, achieved her Associate of Applied Sciences degree in Dental Hygiene from Northcentral Technical College in 1999, her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Minnesota State University Mankato in 2011, and her Master of Science degree in Advanced Dental Therapy from Minnesota State University Mankato in 2022.  She started working at Apple Tree Dental in 2023.

Her passion for helping people is what brought Cindy into dentistry, and she enjoys meeting a wide variety of people on the job. Cindy takes great interest in finding out about her patients' lives, their families, and who they are as a person. She also loves meeting people from different backgrounds and those who speak different languages and come from different cultures.  Cindy has a special interest in dental education and lifelong learning, as well as both preventive and restorative care. She is a member of the Minnesota Dental Therapy Association and has volunteered with Give Kids A Smile, Head Start, and elementary school dental presentations.

Cindy's goal as a person and a professional is to give the best dental care for each patient that she sees, because there is no "one treatment fits all" in dentistry. Originally from Sparta, Wisconsin, she currently lives in Eagle Lake, Minnesota. She has a wonderful supportive husband, three amazing adult kids, a son-in-law, and a sweet granddaughter. They have a cat named Fonzie and a dog named Noah.

Outside of work, Cindy and her husband love to travel with their camper, especially at Glacier National Park. They love to go hiking and have many "bucket list" places to check off. Family is very important and Cindy loves being a Grammie and spending time with her family!
