More and more states across America are realizing that not supporting dental benefits for adults can have dire consequences.
Adults who rely on state medical insurances in the United States often can’t afford dental care, and a big reason for that is that some states just don’t offer dental coverage under their state’s insurance plans. Thankfully, states that previously didn’t offer dental coverage are now reconsidering.
Inability to access dental care as an adult can affect job prospects and confidence, and in some cases, poor oral health can be hugely detrimental to overall health. Dental infections, for example, can often lead to costly emergency room visits.
