The Special Care Dentistry Association has presented the winners of the 2020 SCDA Awards. Apple Tree would like to congratulate our own Teresa Johnson, DDS, MS, MPH, for receiving the Education Award! Dr. Johnson fills the huge roles of Dental Director, Education and Quality Assurance Director, and AEGD Residency Director for Apple Tree.The SCDA Education Award "honors those who take time to educate up-and-coming generations of oral health providers who will then care for individuals with special healthcare needs." Dr. Teresa Johnson has had an incredible career with an extensive background in dental education. She not only coordinates continuing education courses for Apple Tree staff, but she has spoken at various dental education venues across the region, state, and country.
