Dr. Riegel started at Apple Tree Dental in 2025 after completing his undergraduate degree in biology from Creighton University and going to dental school at the University of Minnesota.

His interest in dentistry stems from the idea of using hands-on problem-solving to improve the health of others. He loves helping to educate patients on how they can improve their own oral health and well-being, and he enjoys working with a great team of people at the Fergus Falls Center.

Dr. Riegel loves keeping variety in his day and enjoys doing all kinds of dental procedures. He encourages patients to ask questions to help them feel more comfortable and confident in the dental chair.

Originally from Woodbury, Dr. Riegel now lives in Battle Lake with his wife, daughter, and two cats. When he isn't working, he enjoys walking, boating, yard work, family time, watching sports, and eating Mexican food.
