Anitha Peddireddy, BDS, MDS, Phd, has a long education background, starting in India.  In 1995 she earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from Nagpur University.  In 2000 she achieved her Masters in Dental Surgery (MDS) in Dental Public Health and later earned her PhD at Aalborg University Denmark.  She joined the team at Apple Tree Dental in 2021 and is an Assistant Professor and Program Director for the MSADT program at Minnesota State University Mankato.

Dr. Peddireddy's interest in healthcare began in high school and grew in college, where she focused on an oral health education.  She is committed to enhancing patient understanding of how oral health affects overall wellness.  Building strong patient relationships and delivering compassionate care are core to her practice.  She is also passionate about teaching and helping new students grow, which is why she joined the faculty at MSU.

The best part of her job is the multifaceted nature of dentistry.  It allows her to make a real difference in people's lives by improving their oral health and, by extension, their overall quality of life.  Dr. Peddireddy loves how dentistry's constant advancements offer endless learning opportunities.  She has a special interest in implant supported crown restorations, and single and two-canal RCTs.

Dr. Peddireddy is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the South-Central Study Club out of Mankato.  She is also a permanent member of the Indian Association of Public Health Dentistry.  She volunteers at Garden EngAGEment, a weekly summer program at the Living Earth Center Community Garden, Mankato, to help people with dementia and their caregivers.

Originally from Hyderabad, India, Dr. Peddireddy now resides in Mankato with her husband and two kids.  In her free time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and traveling.
