Apple Tree Dental believes in helping patients get their smile back, while using minimally invasive treatment that prioritizes saving as much of the natural tooth as possible. We use the latest standards and technology to provide the best outcome for patients to restore patients' teeth.
Cavities in the teeth can be filled with different materials depending on the size and location of the decay. In many cases, tooth-colored fillings, called “composite resins,” are the best and nicest looking solution. In other cases, silver fillings, called “amalgam restorations," may provide a lower cost, yet effective alternative. Talk to your dentist to find out which option is right for you.
An extraction is the removal of a tooth. The space where the tooth was removed can be filled with a dental implant, bridge, or denture.
A dental crown is a permanent covering that fits over a damaged or decayed tooth. Crowns are made of a variety of materials including porcelain, gold, or other metals. A crown will provide dramatic improvement in how your tooth looks and functions, and crowns can often be completed in just 1-2 appointments.
A bridge fills a space that an extracted tooth previously occupied. It consists of a filler tooth attached to two crowns placed on the teeth on either side of the missing tooth’s space. A bridge may be necessary to maintain tooth alignment and to avoid jaw problems, as well as to improve your appearance and chewing ability.
Apple Tree now can use digital impressioning technology to help providers fabricate better-fitting bridges and excellent outcomes for patients.
Root canal treatment, also known as endodontic therapy, is the dental term for removing infected or damaged soft tissue from the inside of a tooth’s root to save the tooth. A root canal is an excellent alternative to a tooth extraction. Often a tooth that has had a root canal needs to be covered with a crown to prevent a fracture and reinfection of the tooth.
