Dr. Taylor Forstner joined the team at Apple Tree Dental in 2026 after graduating from the Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. Prior to dental school, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
Dr. Forstner is the first dentist in her family. She always enjoyed going to the dentist as a child and has known she wanted to be a dentist since middle school. Shadowing opportunities and a dental volunteer trip to Guatemala confirmed her decision to pursue dentistry. She finds it very rewarding to make patients feel as comfortable as possible at the dentist, and loves connecting with patients and building their confidence while helping them achieve a healthy and pain-free smile. Working at Apple Tree allows Dr. Forstner to use the skills she has learned to serve rural communities in need of better access to dental care. She enjoys the variety of procedures she gets to do as a general dentist, and especially likes working with children and older adults.
Originally from New Ulm, Dr. Forstner is at our Fairmont Center for Dental Health. Outside of work, she loves spending time with family and friends, including her fiance, Jared. She enjoys reading, baking, and going for walks with her two dogs (they also have five cats!). She loves spending time outside and has recently started gardening.
