Erika Haycraft received both her Bachelor's degree and Master's degree from the University of Minnesota Twin Cities, and obtained her Advanced Dental Therapy Certification in 2019. She joined the Apple Tree Dental team in 2026.
From her very first dental experiences as a child, Erika knew that she wanted to work in dentistry. Her favorite part about dentistry is being able to blend art, science, and direct patient care into her daily practice. As a dental therapist at Apple Tree, she is excited to share the same vision with other dental staff that have genuine desire to improve the overall oral health and well-being of local communities and the underserved population. Erika considers her commitment to dentistry to be deeply personal, and she is thankful to love all aspects of it and cultivate patient relationships. Her special interests are in pediatrics, geriatrics, and cosmetic dentistry. She also enjoys networking and learning from experts in these fields.
Erika is a member of the Minnesota Dental Therapy Association and the American Dental Therapy Association. She has volunteered with Mission of Mercy, Give Kids A Smile, Union Gospel Mission, and Feed My Starving Children, and she has also been on a dental mission trip to Guatemala.
Originally from the Philippines, Erika now lives in Arden Hills with her husband and twin children. Outside of dentistry, she enjoys traveling and playing tennis with her husband. In her spare time, she loves calligraphy, cooking, and gardening, as well as listening to live music, attending cultural events in the Twin Cities, dancing, and playing music with her parents and brother.
