Brenda started working with Apple Tree Dental in 1997 and became the Chief Information Officer in late 2025. She achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Computer Science, both at St. Cloud State University.

She serves as the organization's HIPAA Security Officer. As a member of Apple Tree's Research Team, she collaborates with oral health researchers using Apple Tree's data.
